Against a backdrop of political chaos, footballing disaster and dreary weather, you might wonder where some joy can be found this weekend, but the good news is it can found locally on Westway Common, Caterham at the finale of the Caterham Festival, this Saturday 2nd July.

The Festival has included a number of fantastic events through May and June, and for the finale, there is a whole day of events at Westway, including a Model Air Show at 12 noon, a beer festival and prosecco bar and at 8pm the Oxted Band will be leading a Last Night of the Proms themed concert which will be followed by the lighting of the Beacon and fireworks.

Led by an esteemed guest conductor, Melvin White, we will bring a concert of all types of music, concluding with all the old favourites associated with the Last Night of the Proms giving you the chance to join us in singing to end the night!

We can't guarantee good weather, but since when did that put us off...  Come along, grab a drink of your choice and enjoy a great night!
