Here comes Christmas!

Christmas approaches once again, and the Oxted Band have already started spreading seasonal music once again, playing for Father Christmas when he switched on the Oxted Christmas lights on 16th November (pictured above).

This commences a busy period of the year for the band including the switching on of the lights on the Caterham Cedar Tree on Sunday 26th November at 5:45pm, Carols at Hurst Green station on 14th December at 7pm, and a merry concert at the Oxted Royal British Legion on Saturday 16th December at 8pm.

But as ever the big news is our Christmas Concert at St John's Church, Hurst Green, on Saturday 9th December at 3pm.

We shall be playing Christmas music, with plenty of carols for an audience sing-a-long. The concert will also feature our Training Band who will be presenting some of the work they have done this year. And you will still be home for Strictly Come Dancing in the evening!

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults (children under-15 free), and will be available on the door.
Refreshments and mince pies will be served at the interval.
