Here comes Christmas

posted 1 Dec 2016, 10:17 by Admin   [ updated 1 Dec 2016, 10:17 ]

Christmas is coming once again and Oxted Band have started our festive activities.  We were glad once again to join with local schools, the town crier, and of course Father Christmas, to celebrate the turning on of the lights on the landmark Cedar Tree at Caterham on the Hill last Sunday.

This leads us into a busy period of Christmas events as can be seen on our engagements page.  In particular, you would be very welcome at either of our Christmas Concerts this year:

On Saturday 10th December at 3:00 the Oxted Band along with the Oxted Training Band will be presenting a Christmas Concert including lots of favourite Christmas tunes, carols for you to sing along with and concluding with a chance to meet with the band and enjoy some refreshments.  The concert is at our usual concert venue of St John's Church, Hurst Green.  Tickets £5 and free for accompanied Children under 12, can either be bought on the door, or through Whites Estate Agents in Oxted.  You can download a poster below.

Also, on Saturday 17th December at 8:00 we will be at the Oxted Royal British Legion for more of the same and would love to see you there.

Have a lovely Christmas!
